During the second quarter of 2024, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Chile showed varied performance in terms of downloads and weekly active users. Here's a closer look at the top five apps:

Uber - Request a ride experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting with 17.7K in the first week of April and peaking at 19.7K in the final week of June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 1.33M at the beginning of the quarter to 1.34M by the end.

inDrive. Save on city rides saw a notable increase in downloads, beginning with 13.4K in the first week of April and climbing to 21.4K by the last week of June. Active users showed a steady trend, rising from 167K to 178K throughout the quarter.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides had a consistent performance in downloads, starting at 12.6K in early April and maintaining around 11.7K towards the end of June. Weekly active users remained stable, fluctuating around the 1.06M mark during the quarter.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver experienced a slight decline in downloads from 8.9K in the first week of April to 6.7K by the end of June. However, the number of weekly active users showed a gradual decrease from 106K to 93K over the same period.

Cabify showed a declining trend in downloads, starting at 7.6K in the first week of April and dropping to 6.2K by the last week of June. Weekly active users also saw a decline, decreasing from 149K to 145K during Q2 2024.
